Adding recurrence editor to custom editor template

Question

I'm using a custom editor template and I want to add a recurrence editor as one of its fields. So can you please provide a sample for it so that I can get a sense of how to do it?

Also, the recurrence editor has options like weekly, monthly and daily. Can we have options like weekly for 2 weeks or maybe weekly for 7 weeks?
