SfTabView content not visibile after navigating using Shell

Hi,

Since I've updated the SfTabView nuget the content is invisible after navigating away and back to the page where the TabView is used. I only tested it on iOS.

Last working version: 19.3.0.54

Please see the video attached.

I'm using the latest stable version of Xamarin.Forms if this is relevant.

Hi Andreas,

We are unable to replicate the issue. Please refer the sample from below link.

Sample: https://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/directtrac/general/ze/TabViewShellPage174169410

Could you please share the issue replication sample or SfTabView code snippet, so that it will be helpful for us to assist you further?

Ruba Shanmugam

Hi Ruba,

I was able to update the example project to show the issue.

What I did:

  1. Added a SfTabView to the ElephantsView
  2. Set the ElephantsPage to the first shell item

How to reproduce the issue:
  1.  Start the project (iOS)
  2. Vertify that the elephants page is the first shown page and the labels are visible (screenshot 1)
  3. Navigate to the monkeys page and return to the elephants page
  4. Switch the tabs by clicking the tab header
  5. Verify that the labels in the SfTabItem is invisible (screenshot 2)
  6. Swipe down with the finger and the label gets visible

Please find the updated project attached.

Hi Andreas,
We are able to reproduce the reported issue and fixed the reported issue. Please find the custom assembly from the below link

Assembly Version: 19.4.0.40

Disclaimer: Please note that we have created this assembly for the version v19.4.0.40 specifically to resolve the issue reported in this.

Note: Please refer the below link to apply the custom assembly

Currently, we have patch support only to the main and service pack release version, not for the weekly nuget release. So only provided an assembly with 19.4.0.40 version.

This fix will be included in our weekly release which is expected to be rolled out on January 11, 2022.

Could you please check this fix with your application and let us know, whether the issue is resolved or not.

Regards,
Jeya K

Hi Andreas,

We don't have a weekly NuGet release today due to the release of Volume 4 SP, 2021. This fix will be included in our next weekly NuGet release, which will be released on February 8, 2022.
