How to refresh edited row on cell edit mode without losing tabbing

Hi,

I am using a tree grid (J1) with summaries and set to cell edit mode. On editing a cell, how do I refresh the whole row or a particular column to reflect the update without refreshing the whole row and without losing tabbing because refreshing whole row means losing tab position?

Hi Shadrach ,

From your query, we understand that you want to maintain focus for the edited cell. In order to that, we can press enter key to update a particular record, without losing the focus. If this is not your requirement please explain it in a detailed manner with pictorial representation.

Not exactly. When tabbing through cells and editing, enter or tabbing to the next cell autosaves the cell value but it doesn't update the summary row unless I reload the entire treeGrid. What I would like is that when tabbing through after edit, the Total column below with its summary Total should update without refreshing the whole row or treeGrid while not losing the tab position. The treeGrid is being loaded via ajax.

Assuming part of the treeGrid has the following data, I want the Total column row's total to update and Total column's Summary Total to update. See img below.

Hi ShadiihDev,

On editing a cell and pressing enter key, summary row also gets updated without losing its focus. Please find the below sample link.

Please share your issue replicated sample so that we can check from our end and provide you with a proper solution.
