Speed of Dialog in Published App

Hello

In general when published I have found that Syncfusion controls are pretty snappy (even with Blazor server).  The one exception seems to be the Dialog control.

I have attached a sample project.

The dialog example is really quick on a local development machine, but when published to Azure there is a noticeable lag before the dialog is displayed.

Am I doing something wrong / is there a way to make the Dialog control more responsive when published.

Thanks

We have attached the video for your reference.

Hi Ditchford,

Yes, we can reproduce the delay with your shared azure link. We are validating the root cause of this delay with high priority.

Meanwhile, please share the following details,
  • The timezone of the azure app service.
  • Which server, used in azure to host the sample

Gunasekar

Hey Gunasekar

Its hosted on an app service (see below).  I have just run a check and I think that this may just be related to the fact that I am currently in the UK.  I have just RDP'd to a machine in Australia and tried from there.  The response time is better from the Australian machine.

So, this might just be related to the location of the hosted app service / a limitation of blazor server?

I haven't noticed with other controls, maybe because there is a spinner and I am expecting a delay when (for instance) a grid loads with data.

Would still be interested on your view. I guess the answer is changing the architecture to static web app with web assembly?
