StockChart range selector

Hi!

In the latest version of the StockChart the selected range is only applied after the user releases the range slider. In previous versions the chart instantly updated when the user moved the slider. This new behaviour results in a much worse UX.

Is there a way to bring back the old functionality?

Thanks.

Hi Kristof,

We sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused.

There is currently no feasibility to retain the old functionality of "update the Stock Chart when moving the selection range". We made significant changes to our code to meet Blazor standards while migrating our Stock Chart component from wrapper to Blazor native in the 2021 Volume 1 release.

When a user moves the slider with the selected range, frequent communication between client and server occurs. This behavior will result in slow performance. So, for improved performance, we streamlined the behavior to update the Stock Chart once the user releases the slider.

However, we will check the UX perspective to see if we can provide a spinner or blur the chart to indicate that a background process is running. Could you please check the information above and let us know if you have any concerns?

Regards,
Srihari M.
