Image template in merged cell

Hello,

I am using XlsIO to export data to excel. Everything works fine, except for images.
I am trying to export the image in a merged cell inside an excel template.
Text has no problem to occupy the entire area of the merged cell. The images however only occupy the top left cell underlying the merged cells.
Is there a way to force an image inserted via a template marker to use the entire merged cell?

Thank you,
Emanuel
