LICENSING FOR MACBOOK

Hi Syncfusion Team,

Currently I am using macbook to develop applications. and I am using syncfusion to plot charts using sfcharts.

Recently I have switched from Windows PC to MacBook. In Windows PC I have installed Syncfusion Essential studio.

For Mac, I have followed the steps as stated in the link attached (https://www.syncfusion.com/account/downloads/studio/licensed/14_3_0_52)

after the installation is success, I can see the folders after the installation is success.

as I remember  I need to include the licensing string before the initialization of a page/App. But in Mac I am not sure where I can do that.

Please guide me on this.

Thank you
Best regards.

Hi Jai,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

As per your update, you are using the v14.3.0.52 version setup.

Syncfusion license Key registration is applicable starting with v16.2.0.x release of Essential Studio. These changes apply to all evaluators and only to paid customers who uses nuget packages from nuget.org

Refer the following documentation for more information,

If you are using Syncfusion nuget packages v16.2.0.x or later from Nuget.org, then you should generate and register the corresponding platform and version Syncfusion license key.

So, if you are using v14.3.0.52 setup it is not required to register the license key in your application.

Let us know if you’ve any concerns.

Regards,
Manikandaprabu.T

Hi,

So if I am using MacBook, I do not need the Syncfusion Essential studio is it?
All I have to do is generate the license from the website and use inside the program?

Just to mention, I have downloaded Syncfusion Essential studio offline installer(.pkg) for mac, it says the version is 18.4.0.30

I am sorry I am still not clear what to do in the MacBook as I am still new with Mac environment.

Thank you
Best regards

Hi Mr.Sakthi,

The link you have sent will be applicable for all the syncfusion packages right? e.g. sfchart, sfschedule and etc.

Because i tried to follow the steps form the link. after i followed the steps and whenever i load the page it still shows that I am still using "Trial version"

Not sure where am I missing the step.

Thank you
