The text size and its position can’t be changed (iOS only)

Hi,

I have found some bugs in SfImageEditor, when I add a text to the image (iOS only).

 

How to reproduce it:

- in iOS load an  image in the SFImageEditor

- zoom the view to the left / top of the image

- click on "+Add" text

- the text is added, but the left part can be outside the image 

- the text can be only moved top/down, but not left / right (Error)

- add a text in the middle of the view

- it is very difficult to change the size of the text (Error). It is not the case in Android

 

- add a text to a zoomed image

- the text is very large (Error). The text size should be depended on the zoom factor. It works better in Android.

Many customers complains obout the bugs, it is very difficult to work with a text element in iOS.

Query 1:  Text can be only moved top/down, but not left / right
We have checked the reported issue in iOS platform and working fine at our end, can you please share issue reproducing video. It will be helpful for us to analyse further and provide an appropriate solution.

Query 2: Very difficult to change the size of the text
We have analysed the reported query and we can change the text font size by using the resizing handles. This behavior is same in all platforms.

Could you please confirm whether you are reporting the same case or facing the issue in some other scenario.?

Query 3:  The text is very large
We have checked the reported issue “Added text large in zoomed state image  ” and we have logged a bug report for this issue, and you can keep track of the bug from the feedback portal below.

1. In the iOS App I increase the image and move to top/left

2. I add  a text 

3. The added text can only be moved vertically but not horizontally

4. If I add a text to the middle of the image, it works as expected

We have checked the reported issue with shared video and we would like to inform you that query 3 is related to query 1 issue.

So, we will fix this issue along with query 1 reported problem and the fix will be included in our next weekly NuGet which is expected to be released which expected to be rolled out on April 27, 2021.
