PdfViewer built-in toolbar searchbox text color (almost invisible)

Hello, 

we are facing small issue with SfPdfViewer built-in toolbar. 

When user click to search and type search pattern then this text color is almost the same as background color aroud (text is light gray color, background text color is white). And users do not see what they write. 

It would solve the issue if we can set input search text color. 

ScreenShot with problem is attached. 

Could you please add new property to set search text color please or at least set input search text color as black (not white gray to make it visible).

We were unable to reproduce the issue, “Search box text color is not applied property in the built-in toolbar” and it is working as expected. Could you please try the below-provided sample and let us know whether we have missed out anything while replicating the issue.

Hi Muralitharan Karikalan,

first of all, we are interested only in Android project. 

We changed a bit your sample to reproduce the issue. 

So main difference is that we use not default theme for applicatoin. This is very common when users use not default/customized theme.

We would be glad if text which is written in the searchbox would be clearly visible with any theme or if we are able to set text color for searchbox explicitly.

We were able to reproduce the issue, “Search box text color is not applied properly in the built-in toolbar when the application theme is dark in Xamarin.Forms Android platform” . Currently we are validating this issue and we will update the further details on March 25, 2021.

We have confirmed that the issue “Search box text color is not applied properly in the built-in toolbar when the application theme is dark in Xamarin.Forms Android platform” is a defect and logged a defect report for this issue. The patch for this issue will be delivered on April 15, 2021.

sorry, indeed we see that both pathes are there. This ussue is fixed indeed and searchbox text is visible clearly now, but unfurtunetly this path https://www.syncfusion.com/feedback/23554/android-context-menu-items-gets-cropped-while-selecting-the-text-at-the-edge-of is not working as expected. Could we get path only for this issue (for searchbox)?

We were unable to reproduce the issue, “Context menu items get cropped while selecting text at the edge of the pages in Xamarin.Forms Android platform” with the consolidated patch we have provided in the forum 163731 and it is working fine in our end.

we attached the sample file and pdf. 

It seems it does not work with other pdf files (we attached the file). 

Note, that context menu was displayed better before this patch (with the attached pdf). Now context menu is completely cropped.

Previously we have resolved the issue, “Context menu items gets cropped while selecting the text at the edge of the pages” with the PDF documents we have shared in our last update. However, we were able to reproduce the issue with the new PDF you have shared. We will resolve and provide the patch for this issue on April 27, 2021
