Page Getting Unresponsive while uploading file more than 450 kb file size

Hello,

We are testing the DocumentEditor Control for our application. We were facing Page Getting Unresponsive while uploading file (eg .txt,.xml) more than 450 kb file size and attached .rar file for your reference.

We had tried to reproduce the reported problem. kindly share us input word documents of the reported problem, which will be helpful for us to investigate further and provide you the solution at the earliest.

Hi Kurthis Banu A,

Created server side functionality using Syncfusion.EJ2.WordEditor.AspNet.Core library, using code described in the import section of the document editor.

Based Upon Document Size it getting delay and sometimes we getting as Page Unresponsive . For Example while uploading 1MB of .txt file it taken around 50 secs to show in document-editor panel. 

 WordDocument document = WordDocument.Load(stream, GetFormatType(type.ToLower()));
    string sfdt = Newtonsoft.Json.JsonConvert.SerializeObject(document);
    document.Dispose();
    return sdft;

Hi Yuvaraj,  

We tried to reproduce the reported issue in latest version 18.4.49 we are not able to reproduce the reported issue. Kindly check it in latest version. 

For your reference please check this below stack blitz link also  

Note: Document Editor doesn’t have support for .xml format document. 

If suppose unsupported feature in this document when loading at that time you can facing these issues. so kindly share input word documents of the reported problem. so that we can proceed further and provide you solution at earliest.     

Note: If you have any confidential data in your Word document, please replace with some dummy data and provide us the same.

I have checked in latest version 18.4.49 and in stack blitz which you have sent also getting the same error while uploading 1MB of .txt file. I have also included video file with respected to the above mentioned issue and also added project file and document which myself uploaded for your reference.

We are tried reproduce the reported issue with your shared file. 
We have able to open your shared file “gistfile1”    
 We are unable open the “new 2zzz”. Currently we are validating the issue.

The shared text file is large, and the script error is due to the text content we are analyzing each item to know the exact root cause. We need an additional timeline to validate that. we will update further details by April8,2021.

We have considered the reported scenario as bug and logged defect report. Fix will be included in our upcoming EJ2 patch release which is tentatively scheduled on April 29, 2021. Once included, will update you. You can track the status from the below feedback.

We are glad to announce that our patch release (v19.1.58) is rolled out successfully and in that release, we have added the fix for reported issue.
