SaveSettings is Always Null When Trying to Save a Loaded XlsIO Spreadsheet into Control

Hi there. I am attempting to Save from the Spreadsheet control after loading a created XlsIO spreadsheet. The sheet renders correctly in the browser, but when go to Save, the SaveSettings passed to my Controller is always null.

The is the function that I am using to load the created XlsIO into the Spreadsheet control (which works great)

Leading to this output:

When going to File > Save > Excel, I get this

I am only attempting to download the file that was just opened (for a preview, with possible modifications). Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, Jon

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have checked your reported issue and we would like to let you know that you have facing this exception with the imported particular excel file. So, before we proceed further please share the imported excel file and installed Essential studio product version in your end. Based on that we will check and provide you a better solution quickly.

Sure thing! I am creating the file via XlsIO, and the build is 18.4.0.43.

I attached the entire controller file, with the CreateDatabook action that make the file, since it is quite large. That created file is then passed and opened in the Spreadsheet control as a blob.

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for your update.

We have checked your provided controller file and as we have stated before please share the imported excel file (created MS Excel file using XLSIO library). And control rendering codes, it will be helpful for us while checking the reported issue, based on that we will check and provide you a better solution quickly.
