Customize theme details

Hello,

I am trying to integrate the SfSpreadsheet into a WPF application that uses MaterialDark theme. The problem is that the context menus and the row groups/column groups are not changed when this theme is applied. Is there any way to override their theme?

Hi Emanuel,

Thank you for using syncfusion products.

We have checked the reported query  Customize theme details” at our end. As per the current implementation of WPF  SfSpreadSheet, does not have MaterialDark theme support. For this query Already we have logged a feature request. We will implement this feature in our upcoming Volume 1, 2021 main release which is expected to rolled out in the end of March, 2021.

If you have any more specification/suggestions to the feature request, you can add it as a comment in the portal and cast your vote to make it count.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have two follow-up questions:
I noticed that when I use the SfSpreadsheet along with SfSpreadsheetRibbon inside a RibbonWindow, the theme also does not apply to the settings windows. (e.g Format Cells). Do you know if this support will also be included in the upcoming release?
Second question is about customizing the SfSpreadsheet itself. Is there a way to change the blue color of the selection?

Thanks,
Emanuel

Hi Emanuel,

Thanks for the update.

We have checked reported query at our end.
I noticed that when I use the SfSpreadsheet along with SfSpreadsheetRibbon inside a RibbonWindow, the theme also does not apply to the settings windows. (e.g Format Cells). Do you know if this support will also be included in the upcoming release?
Spreadsheet and SpreadsheetRibbon does not have a theme support for Format Windows.
We will implement the Material Themes support for SpreadsheetRibbon window and Sfspreadsheet.
Second question is about customizing the SfSpreadsheet itself. Is there a way to change the blue color of the selection?
As per the current implementation of spreadsheet control, It don’t have a support to change default visualstyle. As we updated earlier we will implement the Material Themes support In our Upcoming Volume 1 2021 release. which is expected to rolled out in the end of March, 2021.
