Paging in Pivot View

Question

Hi.I have some odata contolers that are going to have a large result set (1 million plus rows) for obvious reasons i cant just query EVERYTHING everytime the client wants to see some data on the pivot view component, is there any way for me to page the results? i'm not talking about "virtual scrolling", actualy querying the server for more data on the fly.

We regret you to let you know that the requirement cannot be achieved because the pivot table requires complete raw data for aggregation. If the purpose of asking the requirement to avoid downloading entire raw data to browser then we suggest you to use “Server-side pivot engine” feature where the entire aggregation done in server side and only the viewport information will be passed to browser.
