Appointments with various heights breaks when updating from 18.3 to 18.4 rowAutoHeight=true

Question

We have a custom height set through eventRendered function for specific event types using Syncfusion scheduler. When bumping from 18.3 to 18.4 this breaks our layout and causes overlapping of appointments. I was able to reproduce this issue using Stackblits. Is there a solution for adding custom heights on 18.4 realease without breaking the layouts?

Hi David, 

Greetings from Syncfusion support. 

We have validated your reported query at our end. 

We didn’t provide option to set different height for individual appointments. Before 18.4 version, we have experienced the overlapping issue and the event’s height was calculated internally for all the events every time. The functionality cause performance impact on the event rendering. We resolved the event overlapping issues with improved event rendering strategy with 18.4 release.  

Using eventRendered event, you can set the height manually for individual events, but the Scheduler considered common height for all the events. We have prepared the sample to set a custom height for all the events which is available in the below link,
