I want to set the backgraound color differently for each layer of the diagram.

I learned to add layers to the diagram in the manual.

But I couldn't find a way to set the background color of the layer.
How can I set the background color for each layer like the screenshot of the manual?

Hi Nam,

By default, in the diagram, we can able to hide / show the layers and able to add the objects to the layer. We does not have support to change the background color for the diagram layers.

Hi Prem,

Requirement: Need a sample to implement a standard Swimlane layout in diagram

We do not have direct support for the Swimlane and its features. We have extended the diagram's nodes to create a static Swimlane object, please refer the below sample:

Sample: https://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/directtrac/general/ze/SwimlaneDiagrmWinforms1370513374

The WPF diagram control has in-built support to create Swimlane objects. If you have no concerns, we suggest using the WPF diagram.
