Hi Azeo,

Sorry for inconvenience.

We suggest you refer the lodash.min.js file in _Host.cshtml file to resolve the reported issue. We have attached the sample for your response.

Please revert us if you have any concerns.

Hello Durga

Thank you.  That works.  Can I just confirm that this will be fixed in a future release (so that I can remove the temporary use of the lodash.min.js at some stage in the future).

Regards

Hi Ditchford,

Most welcome. We have provided support to render the Syncfusion components in Blazor native for best user experience. Hence, we request you to kindly include the lodash script in the HEAD element of the ~/Pages/_Host.cshtml page for server side blazor application. In case, if you are using WASM application, include it in the HEAD element of the ~/wwwroot/index.html page. Hereafter rendering of Syncfusion controls from version 18.4.30 requires this script reference.
Kindly revert us if you have any concerns.

Regards,
Durga G

Hello
I had the same issue starting from 18.4.0.X, and I confirm that the fix suggested worked for me too, but I'm wondering if it's a definitive solution, I mean I just updated the project to 18.4.0.33 and honestly I thought that I didn't need any more this trick on the code.

Thanks,
Paolo.

Hi Paolo,

1. Do you mean that after upgrading to 18.4.0.33, user doesn’t require this script reference anymore?
(OR)
2. You want to totally remove this script reference from the Chart once-for-all.

NOTE: The loadash.min.js script is mainly used for better performance during user interaction, especially mouse operations. So, we have used this and also recommend this script reference.

Please revert us if you have any concerns.

Hello,

We are following the advice to include the lodash.min.js script  to support rendering syncfusion components. However we are currently experiencing an issue in which eslint is noting there is a bad practice in the lodash library. More context here:  no-new-func - ESLint - Pluggable JavaScript Linter

is there any workaround that may involve not relying on lodash?Capture.JPG

Hi John,

In latest version, there is no need of referring the lodash script reference in your application. We suggest you to refer the blazor scripts as CDN link with version number to use latest scripts. Please check with the below release notes for more information. We have prepared sample in latest version and attached for your reference. Please check with below snippet and sample.

<head>

    <script src="https://cdn.syncfusion.com/blazor/20.2.36/syncfusion-blazor.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

</head>
