The ReportViewer WPF control adds extra margins to a report
Hi
Attachment: ReportViewer_previews_cb9ba6c0.rar
I'm using the ReportViewer to show a report (rdl file) created with Visual Studio, but when I preview the report with the Microsoft control, it shows exactly with the margins I declared, but when the app runs and I show the report with ReportViewer, it adds extra margins.
I attached a pdf file with the preview (Microsoft control) and with the result with Syncfusion ReportViewer.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Manoranjan
Attachment: SampleReportViewer_5be4de46.rar
I'm sending you a VS2019 solution sample using AdventureWorks Database. with a labels report with top margin of 0.1 in
There is also an image with the printed result. On the right side the result with Microsoft Report Viewer control, and on the left the page printed with Syncfusion ReportViewer. You can notice the extra margin on top, and little by little, the space between labels is reduced.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards.

Hi Daniel,
We have validated the reported issue with shared sample application. We were able to reproduced the reported issue. The issue is occurs only when we print the report with print layout mode. If we do print process with normal layout it’s working. We will check this issue with our development team and share the details for this on or before 24th December 2020.

Hi Daniel,
We have validated reported issue. We logged the reported issue as bug. As per our plan of having the reporting components as separate from our Syncfusion Essential Studio, we have introduced Bold Reports from Syncfusion. Based on this migration, we will not have any further feature and bug updates with Syncfusion Essential Studio reporting products from now onwards. . So, you need to consider migrating the reporting components with Bold Reports libraries with changes in namespace and declarations for getting new feature updates.
We will Provide the patch in Bold Reports for this issue fix on or before 30th December 2020
Migration Details

Hi Manoranjan

I already migrated the ReportViewer control to Bold Reports.
The top margin is better, not at the same position than Microsoft control, but better.
The problem is not only with the top margin, also the space between rows. I'm printing labels on a paper size A4. and at the beginning is fine but since row 7 to the bottom, the rows fall between one label and the next.
I'm sending you an image with both results. With the example application that I sent you earlier the same thing happens.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Daniel P.

Hi Dan Michael,
After our further analysis reported space issue Tablix row with MS exported print file is a not issue because we don’t have exact printing layout of MS and from as this is behavior of Bold report viewer. We don’t find any major differences in print file and every row have small differences its make you to differ with MS print file at after 7th rows.
