Number Format on DoubleTextBox and GridGroupingControl

Hi,

I need your support on two control

1. DoubleTextBox: when I type value, i.e 10.500.000, after that I erase number 1 to type number 2, but value is reset to 500.000 before I type 2.
How can I remain string 0.500.000 ?

2. GridGroupingControl: same problem like DoubleTextBox when I erase number.
Plus I can not copy value from that cell (column Value) to another cell (column Value2). Some errors happen without error message

Regards

Hi Hieudt,

Thank you for your patience.

The reported scenario in  GridGroupingControl is occurred due to the same issue in dependency control DoubleTextbox. It will be fixed in GridGroupingControl with the previously confirmed issue of DoubleTextBox control and we will provide you the patch details on 08th December 2020 as we promised already.

Hi Hieudt,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

On the further analysis in our current implementation of DoubleTextBox, we have done validation of text on keypress. When parsing the text double.Parse will remove the zeros before number, so we cannot display zeros before number. We can have zero on editing the value when the validation process takes place on Lost focus which is currently not available in DoubleTextBox. So, we will consider this as improvement and will be including this fix in our upcoming 2021 Volume 1 release which will be rolled out by March 2021. We will intimate you once this fix included. Appreciate your patience until then.

You can track the status of this implementation by using below feedback link:

Hi Hieudt,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The value of the DoubleTextBox control is updated on keypress, even the value append with zero in sample level, the value will parse again and it will give the same result. So we are unable to give solution as work around for this requirement. So as promised earlier will be including this fix in our upcoming 2021 Volume 1 release which will be rolled out by March 2021. We will intimate you once this fix included. Appreciate your patience until then.

Elakkiya
