Offline Installer does not work as designed

Hi I don't have good internet connection so I download outside onto USB, then offline install.

  1. The new UI is nicer but it, but it does not use the libs in the offline installer which has everything in the 3GB file. For those that dont have a good connection on the countryside, we need an offline install.
  2. When updating a project to newer version of Syncfusion, adding new DLL's from Nuget or Project reference old dlls / references  are not removed.

Thanks

Hi Megatron,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

Q1) The new UI is nicer but it, but it does not use the libs in the offline installer which has everything in the 3GB file. For those that don’t have a good connection on the countryside, we need an offline install.

A1) Syncfusion provides two types of offline installers and both can be installed offline using the unlock key.

  1. Essential Studio offline installer (3 GB zip file) which contains all the Essential Studio components in it.

  1. Individual offline platform installers

Find below the steps for generating unlock keys

Essential Studio Offline installer

The 3 GB zip file will contain the entire Essential Suite components in it. You can able to install our this offline with the unlock key. This won’t require internet connection.

Kindly refer to the steps provided in the following link to install the Essential Studio setup using unlock key.

Individual platform installers

You can also install our individual platform setups for your required components offline using unlock key. This also won’t require internet connection.

Find below the user guider document for our individual offline installers,

Q2) When updating a project to newer version of Syncfusion, adding new DLL's from Nuget or Project reference old dlls / references  are not removed

A2) Could you please provide the below more details to investigate the issue further from our side.
1. Reproducing steps with the screenshot
2. Please confirm for us is there any Syncfusion assemblies are added manually in your project.
3. What are the assemblies/NuGet packages that are already available in your project and which version?
4. Which Syncfusion NuGet packages you have tried for the update.
5. Gatherlog file. Please follow the steps from the link to get the Gatherlog file.

Regards,
Christopher H.
