Can I disable background touch on SfPicker in DialogMode?

I want the user interface in the background to be disabled when I open the SfPicker mode in DialogMode(that is my other buttons not be active when I open the picker). Is there a way I can achieve that like with InputTransparent theoretically(which I tried and does not work )? Thanks,Norbert

Hi Tamas,

Greetings from Synfusion.

In SfPicker control currently when the control is loaded with DialogMode and when the picker is in open state on interacting with any other element in the application content view will first discard the SfPicker control to closed state. So can you please let us know the scenarion and platform in which interaction of other elements is taking place and picker not going to close state. This will help us analyze your reported scenario and help you resolving it.

It is as you say.But I would also want the button not to receive the clicked event when I click on it and the picker is open.so it only receives the click event when the picker is closed. To say it otherwise. When I click on the button, first only the picker closes, then if you click the button again(and picker was not opened again) the buttons click event to be triggered. Thanks

Hi Tamas,

We are able to reproduce the reported issue with SfPicker control and currently we dont have any workaround possible. We have logged a defect report. We will fix and the fix will be available in Volume 2 SP2 which will be in the end of August 2018.

Hi Tamas,

We are sorry to let you know that due to control stability we have not included the fix “SfPicker background touch issue” in our Volume 2 SP2 release and will be available in our upcoming Volume 3 release which will be rolled out by the end of September 2018.
