Excel Filter Menu - Filters Search Item List - Datasource Binding

Hi,

Appreciate for your response/support.

I have another question.

In your examples, even if there is no datasource has been provided for the , I still see there is lot of data’s shown in the Excel Filter Menu.

How is this been achieved?

I have successfully achieved the Grid and the Filter but unfortunately, this default content is not loading in my scenario.

It will save my day.

Hi Anbazhagan,

Thanks for contacting syncfusion supports.

Query1:  if there is no datasource has been provided for the , I still see there is lot of data’s shown in the Excel Filter Menu.

We are analyzing your requirements and we need some details regarding the query. Please share the following details

  1. Please share the issue reproducing scenario.
  2. Please share the grid version you have used.
  3. If possible, please share the grid code.
  4. Do you used any default query in Grid?
  5. If possible, please reproduce the issue in below sample.

Query2: ‘Date Picker is not showing in the Filter Menu - Advance Filter - Date Field.

We have checked the image and we suspect that the DOB column has string date value. By default the filter UI will load based on the type of the column. So the menu filter opens the string filter options. Please ensure the value of DOB property as JavaScript Date object.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Regards,
Ramdhas  Ueikattan

Hi Anbazhagan ,
Thanks for your update,
Currently the excel filter doesn’t have support to work with async pipe. We have logged “Need to provide support to bind excel filter data using async pipe as a feature improvement. This feature is estimated to be available in our Essential JavaScript Volume 2, 2018 release.
