Introduction
The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning of the Kingdom of Lesotho wanted its website to serve as a place where citizens could find up-to-date government data related to its activities and the country’s financial health.
Letuka Ntsielo, a ministry business analyst with development experience, was tasked with crafting this part of the website. When the programs he was using didn’t allow him to meet his deadlines, he turned to Essential Studio® to speed up his work.
Objectives
Letuka needed to build this portion of the ministry website quickly using Blazor and ASP.NET Core. He was set up with Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise but found that the built-in tools were inadequate for his needs. Some of the components in bootstrap were not responsive, and development was progressing slowly.
Solution
When looking for a reliable toolkit that would help him work more efficiently, Letuka found Essential Studio® by Syncfusion®. Essential Studio® had a wide range of scalable components for Blazor, JavaScript, and ASP.NET Core. The UI was feature-rich and the price was reasonable.
“Integration wasn’t hard at all, since I had some experience in web development,” said Letuka. While there were a few challenges getting accustomed to a new system, he said they weren’t worth mentioning.
Results
Letuka was able to create the website the Lesotho Ministry of Finance and Development needed to exercise transparency in their department.
“I am now confident with my app, because it meets the user requirements,” he said. “Essential Studio® is a very helpful third-party framework.”
Conclusion
Letuka hopes to use Essential Studio® in future projects for the ministry. With its components, the ministry can now keep the general public informed by publishing government data in one easily accessible and visually appealing place.
