Thank you for reading (and hopefully coding) along. If you’ve gotten this far, you now have a pretty good idea of what the Google Maps API can do, and how to do it.

However, this is a fairly large API, and the Google ecosystem is absolutely huge, so there’s a lot more you could learn if you want to take your mapping applications to the next level. Thankfully, it’s all well documented by Google, and plenty of other people have written tutorials, blog posts, and other articles on developing against Google Maps and other APIs.
