Overview

In this video, we will explore the features of the Syncfusion® Angular Timeline, a perfect tool for visualizing chronological events or activities in order. Whether you’re tracking project milestones, showcasing user activities, or highlighting historical events, the Angular Timeline is a good choice of tool. It provides seamless customization and offers both vertical and horizontal layouts, allowing events to be stacked neatly or displayed side by side.

The Timeline component offers fully customizable content alignment to fit various layouts and design preferences. In the horizontal layout, content can be positioned on the left or right, while in the vertical layout, it can be placed at the top or bottom. For a more dynamic look, events can alternate sides, creating a zigzag effect. The order of events can also be reversed to highlight recent updates first. Additional details can be placed alongside or opposite the main content for a more informative display.

Events can be visually enhanced using customizable dot markers with icons, colors, images, or text. Marker styles, including filled, flat, and outlined, allow for further customization, and outlines or shadows can be applied for emphasis. Connector lines can also be set with different widths, colors, and styles, such as solid or dashed, ensuring seamless integration with any design.

The Angular Timeline component is responsive, providing optimal experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. It supports WAI-ARIA standards for accessibility and RTL rendering for languages like Arabic and Hebrew. It offers built-in themes like Material, Bootstrap, and Tailwind, and you can create custom themes.
