Author and date in annotations

Hello,

I'm currently evaluating the latest version of Syncfusion 8.4 (we already had version 6.1).

Right now I'm trying to add some annotations, but I haven't found how to add the author and the date. The annotations show up fine, but they don't quite look the same like when added from Adobe Reader for example.

Is there a way to accomplish this using Syncfusion PDF ?

PS : when opening the PDF with evince (an open-source, free PDF Viewer), the Syncfusion annotations have a black border, and clicking on the icon doesn't open it. The Adobe annotations look OK.

Hi Joffrey,

Thank you for your interest in syncfusion products.

We can add the author and the date information in the Pdf using the XmpMetaData option. It adds the information as additional metadata information to the pdf. I have placed the sample for the same in the location below:
