DockingManager MDI layout focus problem

I have added a DockingManager in our application which hosts no. of Usercontrols as document. The “ContainerMode” property of the DockingManager is set as “DocumentContainerMode.MDI”. After I set the MDI layout (using SetMDILayout method) as horizontal or vertical the (MDILayout.Horizontal/MDILayout.Vertical), I am not able capture focus event of the child window when user is clicking on the non client area (Toolbar) of the or try to navigate using key board (CTRL+Tab).

I have implemented the GetFocus event of my Usercontrols but it executes only when the client area is clicked.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi Sandipan,

Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion products.

We are not able to reproduce the issue when we set the MDILayout to the DockingManager. It automatically fires the Focus event of the child windows. We have attached the sample here whilch will illustrate this.If you feel still the issue persists could you please modify the sample and send it to us. It would be helpful to find an accurate solution.

Please let us know if you have any queries.

Regards,
David C
