how could i set - a specific column font style to bold - a specific cell font style to bold tks, taz

One way you can do this is using similar techiques to the color cells sample. The idea is to derive a columnstyle, override Paint, and draw your own text using whatever font you need. Here is a FAQ link that discusses how you might do this. http://www.syncfusion.com/faq/winforms/search/927.asp
