Excel Like Edit and AddNew not working

I have set ExcelEditMode="true"
and


The blank line appears at the top of the grid but if I double click on it nothing happens.

Also I couldn't find any samples on Adding records. Plenty on editing and deleting. Could you direct me please?

Currently this feature is not available in the library. We have contacted development team for further analysis and will include this feature in future release of Essential studio once this feature is validated.

Because I use LINQ or the Addnew feature with ExcelEditMode isn't supported no matter what datasource?

We regret for inconvenience caused. Currently we don't have the feature for adding new row in Excel-like Edit mode with all types of Datasource.

We don’t have support of this feature in current version also and already logged this as feature request. It will be available in any of our future releases.
