I am just wondering why none of the major diagramming solutions provide a mindmap-like layout.

Is there a chance that Syncfusion diagram supports drawing mind map layouts? Does any algorithm into this direction already exists?

Thank you for your help

Hi Marc,

Essential diagram currently does not support MindMap layouts. We have created a workaround earlier for a minmap layout requirement which could be found in the link below. Please check this and let know whether it meets your requirement and if not provide me the details/screenshot of MindMap that you are trying to achieve.

Is there still an example of a mind map layout?  Nothing comes up from that link.

I think Google is working on it and probably they are launching it along with Google 3D classes.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

Currently we don’t have support for MindMap layouts. This has been suspected to be a feature. Please create a DT incident for your query so that we can update the patch for this feature.

You can create the DT incident from the following link.
