raise excelframe before validating

Hi,
my Release is 1.6.1.8.
Excelmode is active.

Following error description:
I am typing in an Int32-Column "characters" and dont leave the cell (validating is not started) and raise an excelframe the cursor is from now on a cross. When i now click in the grid an exception occours.

Is this traceable ?

I assume you are using the ExcelMarkerMouseController class from our ExcelSelectionMarker sample to display the cross when you position the cursor over the lower right corner? If so, I tried to see this problem in this sample using 1.6.1.8 with both Frameworks, and could not. Do you see the problem with this sample? Are you doing something different?
