Hi,
Select any control in the VS.NET Designer. Click the "..." button for the Font property. Selct "MS Sans Serif", Regular, 8 point and click OK. In the property grid, why is it showing 8.25pt instead of 8.0pt. When you expand the font property, you can set the font size to 8.0. This is not apparent on screen for small sizes, but for large fonts, the difference is visible.
Why is this happening?
thanks,

Hi Reddy,
This is an issue with Microsoft's Visual Studio.NET. I am afraid, presently we are unable to think of any reasons as to why this could be happening. But please refer to the link below which might interest you (this link is a discussion thread on this topic).

Guru,
Is Microsoft aware of this bug?
If not can you followup with them?

Hi Reddy,
This could be a workaround for this problem. Expand the Font tree in the Properties Dialog of the VS designer. Now set the Font's Size property value to 8 or any desired value. Now when it loses focus, the value does not change back to 8.25. Please try this in your application and let me know how it goes. Thanks for choosing Syncfusion products.

Guru,
I know that this works. Unfortunately this feature is in our application and can not be removed. If it is a developer thing, we will understand this problem. But the business users will not be able to understand why it shows two different font sizes in the same control?
thanks,
