Hi, I am developing a Window Service application in .Net using VB.Net and it refers some controls, which is placed on a WinForm. While it calls/refer that, it prompt error "Could not instantiate ActiveX control 'xxxx' because the current thread is not in a single-threaded apartment" I have seen many places, the GUI cannot be placed on Windows Service, but my requirement should be. Even I try to compile that form alone as a stand-alone exe and try to call thro this service using Shell() function. It reports error "Data Type Conversion and cannot be inititialized" Can anyone help on this? Thanks in advance Pargunan
