create PDF/X-1a documents

I would like to be able to import an existing PDF document and ensure it is PDF/X-1a compliant.

Can I do that?

If so, what are the steps.

Hi Geoff,

Thank you for your interest in Essential PDF.

With the current implementation, we can create the PDF document with Pdf_X1A2001 ConformanceLevel but not possible to check the conformance level for an existing document. We will consider this as a feature request and we will get back with you once the feature has been implemented.
