Can DocIO extract all of the embedded OLE objects from a Word document and save them to the file system in their native file format?

For example, I assume I have a Word doc that contains an embedded Excel spreadsheet and a PDF file. Can I use DocIO to extract these embedded objects to the file system and save them in their native format (XLS and PDF) even if the native application is not installed on the user's machine?

If this is possible please provide a code sample for the above scenario and confirm that this is possible with both Word 2003 (doc) and 2007 (docx).

Thank you for your interest in Essential DocIO.

Extracting Embedded OLE object

With the current implementation, we don’t provide support for this feature. But we have planned to implement the feature in our Volume 3 release which is expected to be published on 10th July 2009.

Please let me know if you need any concern.
