Is it possible to change the background color of the desigh surface? If you can change the color can you also set this to transparent.

Hi Charl,

Yes it is possible to change the background of the design surface which is the DiagramView. You can specify any color as the background of the view by using the Background property of DiagramView. And it can be made as transparent by setting the background of the DiagramView as transparent in the following way:
















As you can see the 'Background' property of 'DiagramView' has been set to 'Transparent'.
Therefore the design surface will be painted red in color as the Grid hosting the control is specified a 'Red' background indicating that the view is transparent.
