The animation delay is really slow with the docking manager. Is there a way to disable the animation and just collapse/show the window. This would greatly improve painting performance with gradient controls.

I could not find anything that controls the animation on the docking windows.

Thanks

Hi Neil,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

It is possible change the speed of the docking panes that are displayed or auto hidden. The speed of animation can be controlled by AnimationSpeed and AnimationStep properties. Kindly refer to the below online tutorial link that describes this:

http://help.syncfusion.com/ug_72/toolswin/AutoHideAnimationSpeed.html

Please let me know if any concerns.

Regards,
Fathima

Thanks for the reply.
Actually, the animation settings were hard to find because they are static in the DockingManager class and not in the instance being used.
