Hi Vikram,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

1> Can we add columns and rows after adding the table?

An unbound column is a column that is not bound to any data. We can add unbound columns to a grid programmatically, and have to populate the column's cells manually. Pelase refer the link for adding unbound columns.

http://help.syncfusion.com/ug_71/gridweb/UnboundColumn2.html

The Grid engine inherently supports easy addnew / editing features. You can show the "AddNew" row using the AllowNew property as given below.

this.GridGroupingControl1.TableDescriptor.AllowNew = true;

Please refer the sample below to add a new row in Grid.

2> How to give border to the cells, however giving border to the table is fine.

Please refer the below code snippet to show border to the cells through QueryCellStyleInfo event.

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
this.GridGroupingControl1.QueryCellStyleInfo += new Syncfusion.Web.UI.WebControls.Grid.Grouping.GridTableCellStyleInfoEventHandler(GridGroupingControl1_QueryCellStyleInfo);

}

void GridGroupingControl1_QueryCellStyleInfo(object sender, Syncfusion.Web.UI.WebControls.Grid.Grouping.GridTableCellStyleInfoEventArgs e)
{
if (e.TableCellIdentity.TableCellType == GridTableCellType.RecordFieldCell || e.TableCellIdentity.TableCellType == GridTableCellType.AlternateRecordFieldCell)
{
e.Style.Borders.All = new Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Grid.GridBorder(Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Grid.GridBorderStyle.Standard, Color.Transparent);
e.Handled = true;
}
}

3> When copying some table from Microsoft excel, it converts space to , can that be resolved?

The Export feature allows us to export the Grid data into a Microsoft Excel file. This can be done through server-side Export method.
http://samples.syncfusion.com/ASPNET/7.1.0.30/Web/grid.grouping.web/samples/3.5/ExportingAndPrinting/Export/CS/exportsample.aspx

Please have a look at the above sample and if still the issue exists, could you please try reproducing the issue in a sample and send us that sample so that we could sort out the cause of the issue and provide you a solution?

4> Where in documentation we can find all the possible things we can perform on table?

Please refer the online documentation for GridGrouping from below link.

http://help.syncfusion.com/ug_71/gridweb/defaultasp.html

Please let me know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,
Rekha
