Why are there 2 separate downloads?

When I log in to Direct-Trac to get the most recent version (7.1.0.34) there are two downloads -- one is 242MB, and another is a "service pack" of 20MB. After installing both, I find that a third install is needed to get the documentation.

I was just wondering... why the product is bundled this way?

Hi Roy,

I regret for the inconvenience caused.

242 MB Studio setup - This is the complete Syncfusion Essential Studio setup bundled with all the products of all the platforms.

20 MB Studio setup - This is a build machine support installer which will help you to install Syncfusion assemblies alone in your build machine and configure that in the machine for the current version which is being installed.

Documentation - Essential Studio documentation is made as a seperate install to reduce the install size and install time. Users can also use the online documentation available in the following location.

http://help.syncfusion.com/ug_71/gridwin/default.html

I will inform the Website team towards enabling options that explain the customer about each of the package and their usage in the Direct-Trac page. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

Please let us know if you have further questions and we will be glad to assist you.

Regards,
Nanda
