Ability to have Horizontal and Vertical views

In a tabbed MDI view with multiple documents, is it possible to have view with a mix of horizontal and vertical tab groups. For instance, is the following view possible: ----------------- - - - - Form1 - Form2 - - - - ----------------- - - - Form 3 - - - -----------------

Hi Vikram, You can do what you are looking for by using groups. Take a look at the AdvancedTabbedMdi sample located int the: Syncfusion\Essential Suite\Tools\samples\Tabbed MDI Package\Advanced\AdvancedTabbedMDI directory. In your case Form1 and Form2 to belong to say Group1 and Form3 can belong to Group2 to get the look you describe above. Regards, Arun

Thanks, but this option works great if I know the layout before hand. What I would like is to allow the user to right click in the tab which allows the option to create a new Horizontal or Vertical tab group (and say the user picks Horizontal), then in the new horizontal group (provided it has multiple windows), the user again has the ability to create new Horizontal or Vertical tab groups (instead of the just another horizontal as the current behavior operates). Is this functionality capable?

Vikram, Unfortunately grouping is possible only at one level, so it has to be either horizontal or vertical. There is no way to to change alignment with a group. Regards, Arun
