QTP does not recognize GroupBar and TreeView

Hi,

i'd like to test the syncfusion components GroupBar and TreeView but it doesn't work although I did everything as written in the documentation.

If I press the record button in QTP and then e.g. try to collapse a node in the tree view, nothing happens. the window in QTP keeps empty.

Version of Test-Studio is 4.303.1.8, the version of the DLLs from the Software is 6.302.0.6
Is that the problem? If so, where can I get an older evaluation version of test studio?

Hi,

It is required to have Essential Studio and Essential TestStudio be installed in QTP with same versions, inorder to perform successful record and replay of scripts in QTP. On basic troubleshooting steps, please refer the following link:

If you are using Essential Studio 6.3.0.6v, then please download and install Essential TestStudio 6.3.0.6.

This is to be installed in a system that has both Mercury QTP and Essential Studio 6.3.0.6 installed.

Please refer to this folder, which has the user guide, samples, source and binaries:

install drive:\ProgramFiles\Syncfusion\Essential TestStudio
UserGuide: \ProgramFiles\Syncfusion\Essential TestStudio\Essential TestStudio.chm
