Date Formatting

I've noticed that Syncfusion does not pick up on my regional settings when formatting dates. It always formats in US date format if the cell format is General. As a result I have to specifically set the formatting on each cell to an Australian date format.

It would be very useful to have some way of controlling the default date format. I can't see any way to do this currently.

Is this regional issue (concerning dates and decimal numbers) already solved?

Hi Ludwig,

The feature to get the regional settings while formatting dates is not yet implemented. If needed you may need to pass the datetime values as string or explicity set the number format.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Geetha
