GridGroupingControl Problem

Hi
1.If the row text in the grid is very long, the highlight of the row when you selecting the row doesn't cover the entire row.
2.When we click navigate the page in the grid, we will find the width of the columns in the grid changes. is it possible to do fixed row width?
3. Is there any TextBox control available in syncfusion?

Kindly reply us immed. it's very urgent.

1. Row text in the grid is very long/ Width of the columns in the grid changes :

I am afraid that I am not able to reproduce the issues you have mentioned here. Please refer the following steps that I tried to reproduce the issue:

1. Created a simple sample with GridGroupingControl, Binded it with a datasource, which has very long row text.
2. While hovering the row, the entire row gets selected.
3. While navigating through pages, the column width also remains same.

Please have a look into the above and try this, and if still the issue exists could you please send us a sample to reproduce it? So that we could sort out the cause of the issue very soon and provide you a better solution.


2. Is there any TextBox control available in syncfusion?

Yes. Syncfusion is having various TextBoxes for different, different purpose. The following are the TextBoxes supported by Syncfusion:


 CurrencyTextBox
 DateTimeTextBox
 MaskedEditTextBox
 NumericTextBox
 PercentTextBox
 AutoCompleteTextBox

If you Navigate Page, you will column width changes.

1. How we can set fixed column and row wrap text?
2. Is there any option to set fixed text length? when I select the row, I want to see full length text.
3. If the row text is huge, the selected row showing indicator half only.(kindly look into the picture). How to select Hole row in the grid?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

1. How we can set fixed column and row wrap text while navigation?

The column width resizing issue while navigation has been fixed with latest.

2. Is there any option to set fixed text length? when I select the row, I want to see full length text.

Depending upon the column width the cell text gets varied, no other way to fix the text length with GridGroupingControl. As per the current architecture when you select the text it will select the whole row, and also you can see the full length text.

3. If the row text is huge, the selected row showing indicator half only.(kindly look into the picture). How to select Hole row in the grid?

I am afraid that I am not able to reproduce the issue even with your sample. While selecting the whole row is getting selected.
