master page and contentplaceholder

I am trying to use the "essential grid" inside of a 'content' block which is inserted into a 'contentplaceholder' in a master page.

The grid binds the data correctly.

However, if i try to use the control (such as paging forward/backward/etc), they do not work and it errors out.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

I am afraid that I am not able to reproduce the issue, you have mentioned. Please refer the following steps that I tried to reproduce it:

1. Created a simple sample with GGC in MasterPage.
2. Binded it with Database.
3. GGC includes PagerBar .
4. While running the sample the clicking on the next, previous options in PagerBar doesn't throw any exceptions..

Please try the above, if still the issue exists, could you please send us a simple sample to reproduce the issue? so that we could sort out the cause of the issue and provide you a better solution.
