Where is the Namespace?

Hi,
i updateted the libs to version 6.303.0.6.
After update i found 2 references for each library in the "AddReference"-dialog.
The installed path for the new lib was somehow with doubleshlash.
"C:\Programs\\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\v3.5\".
After i patched the registry-entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\AssemblyFolders\Syncfusion Controls
to the real path, it was ok.
But compiling failed, because the namespace:
Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.XPMenus.ParentBarItem
cannot be found.
I searched all dll's with .NET Reflector, but couldnt find it.
Where has the namespace gone?
Or is it my fault?

Regard
FrankW

Hi Frank,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

It appears that this issue could be raised due to some reference problems. Can you please do the following?

1) Please un-install 6.3.0.6 from your system.

2) Check manually whether all the references are removed from your system.

3) Install 6.3.0.6 once again and try compiling the sample now.

Please try this and let me know if this helps.

Regards,
Fathima

Hallo Fathima@SyncfusionTeam,
i uninstalled, cleaned, installed 6.3.0.6, but it doesnt help.
The registry-key is dubleslashed again ;), and expectedly i find 2 references for each library in the "AddReference"-dialog.

It seems to be the wrong assembly-version in the resx-file, but how can i fix it

The errormessage:
Ungültige Resx-Datei.
Der in der RESX-Datei verwendete Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.XPMenus.ParentBarItem,

Hi Frank,

Thanks for sending us the .resx file.

I have checked the .resx file, It seems like there is no Syncfusion Entries present in that file.

Basically, the utility which i have sent to you is by default installed with the Syncfusion essential studio installer and used for updating the old Syncfusion entries with the new API changes.

So you need not have to convert this file. Could you be able to send us the screenshot which shows the issue you are currently facing.

Please let us know if you need any further details.

Regards,
Karthik

Hi Karthik,
here is the Screenshot of VS2008.
You see the error, which appears when i try to compile and the error in the designer-view.
You found no Syncfusion Entries in the resx-file?!?
Now i am confused!

FrankW

Hi Frank,

We fear that we could not able to reproduce this issue. So please try this with our latest essential studio beta version which is going to be published tomorrow.
