DateTimePickerAdv forgets databinding after edit

I use a GridGroupingControl together with some Textboxes and one DateTimePickerAdv to visualize some details which are not visible in the grid.
I use a DataSet and a BindingSource and have everything bound to this BindingSource. Everything works fine, but as soon as I edit the date with the date picker it looks as the picker loses it's databinding. When I select another row in the grid, the picker is not updated anymore.

Any idea what could cause this?
