Essential Tools and Internet Access

We have an application that is using your Essential Tools components. When the application starts on a machine that has internet access it seems to start fairly quickly but if the machine does not have internat access it takes a minute or two. We put a firewall on it and found our application was trying to access the internet site crl.Thawte.com. Are your controls digitally signed and that is why this is happening. Is that is the case how can I resolve this problem for users that do not have internet access

Hi Larry,

We regret for the inconvenience caused.

This is on account of Authenticode signed assemblies shipped by us for certain 5.2 versions targeting Windows Vista. We have change this for future releases. Please let us know what version you are using and we can provide non-authenticode builds of the assemblies for that version.
