I have recently upgraded essential studio from 4.4 to 6.1. In several places of my code i have to clear the bars collection in the MainFrameBarManager, but the operation "myMainFrameBarManager.Bars.Clear();" crashes. The exception thrown is a NullReferenceException, but the bar collection is not null (empty, but not null). How is this possible? Is this a bug? How can I fix it?

I am afraid I was not able to reproduce the Bars collection clearing throws a null reference exception. Can you try the below sample that I prepared for testing and let me know if you are able to reproduce that? This sample was did in 6.1.0.34.

I have modified your sample making it more similar to my application. Now, clicking the first button, then the second button and finally the third one, the application crashes.
