Hello,

I am trying to drag and drop excel cells into a syncfusion grid.

I have followed the example distributed with XlsIO to Cut and Paste into the grid using the PasteWorkbook method from IWorkbooks; this much is working and working well.

However, there does not appear to be any equivelent function to handle drag and drop data i.e. DropWorkbook. Excel does not seem to put the cells into the Clipboard to be pasted using the existing PasteWorkbook method.

Attempting to take the IDataObject from the drop and put it into the clipboard before calling paste manually doesn't work, either.

Is there a recommended way of dragging and dropping Excel cells into a Syncfusion grid?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

I regret to let you know that it is not possible to drag and drop Excel Cells in to a Syncfusion Grid since XlsIO does not have any event to drag and drop data. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please let me know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,
Melba
