I've seen a previous issue about the Essential Edit control taking around a second to load, to which the answer was to set LoadConfigFile to False to prevent the configuration being loaded. I am currently evaluating the control and in general I like it but I have that same problem, and since my users will be opening a form with 6 instances of the control, having it take a second to load each instance is simply too long - it's taking over 7 seconds for the form to load.
I've tried the edit control on a form by itself and with no code, and it is that which is causing the delay. The thing is, when I set LoadConfigFile to False it says this is obsolete and will be ignored, and indeed it makes no difference to the load speed. I am loading my own non-standard language configuration later on (after the delay has finished so not a factor) so I don't want it to load any of the standard languages anyway because that is wasted time. How do I stop it from doing that so the control loads more quickly? I hope there is an answer as this could be a show-stopper which would be a great shame. Thanks for your help.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for evaluating Syncfusion products.
LoadConfigFile will load with the default settings for the EditControl, so setting to false will improve the performance little bit. But when we add any particular File, it will take some time to load, which we can’t be avoided. We have already discussed with our developer regarding the performance, they mention Edit control take at least a seconds to load, that we can't be prevent. Our Developer continuously working on to improve the performance.
