Lost caracter encoding at the end of cloning&merging "process"

Hy professionals,

we use your code samples for clone&merge some Word documents.
Typical process, we have N incoming documents an want to merge it to one result document. It works really fine, but if we open the result document, it seems that the character encoding is lost.

I have to say, that the incoming documents were created from a Wordtemplate.

Do you have any idea, where the reason of this problem could be found?
Or maybe there is a workaround?

I thank everyone for an idea.

Thanks
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for posting your query to us.

I am afraid that i am not able to reproduce the issue. I have attached the sample under which i tried to reproduce the issue and it is available here.

Please sent us the sample along with the input documents or modify the above sample so that it will be helpful for us to reproduce the issue here.

Regards,
Sarathi

Hy Sarathi,

thanks for your fast reply.
As I saw the solved issues in the newest Version, it seems that my Problem corresponds to the Bug (#5472 -Fixed issue with applying fonts to non US characters). You have to know, that we use Characters like 'Ö ö Ä ä' and so on. So I think we should upgrade to the newest Version and hope that this was really our Problem ;)

I thank you for your support!

Best regards
Stefan
